Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. If you’re interested in learning more about the project, reach out to megan.sheehan@tnc.org for more info!

Welcome to Conservation Gateway

The Gateway is for the conservation practitioner, scientist and decision-maker. Here we share the best and most up-to-date information we use to inform our work at The Nature Conservancy.

link ANNOUNCEMENT

It's time for our Conservation Coaches Network Rally again!

CCNet Rally 2013 – Learning, Connecting, Celebrating – Making a Difference will be held at the Marriott Lodge at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, April 28th – May 2nd, 2013. Contact Barbara Allison if you’d like to receive an invitation. Registration will be open until February 8, 2013.

At Rally 2013, we will be focusing on sharpening our core coaching competencies and abilities to adapt to different project needs and helping teams move beyond planning. While some workshops will be dedicated to training new skills, we will also have sessions to explore problem areas or to produce new products. We will learn and share approaches about assisting teams with participatory processes, management plans (whole systems, forest plans, species plans, protected areas) and organizational conservation business or strategic plans. In addition, we will have a chance to catch up with the latest evolutions in the Open Standards, such as the incorporation of human well-being, strategy selection, addressing issues of scale and leverage, and climate change adaptation. We will be exploring and reviewing new and evolving approaches, adaptations and tools. Rally 2013 will be your chance to share your experiences and learn from coaches across our diverse community. You will also meet new colleagues and old friends from around the world.

We hope you can join us, so gather your ideas and energy for an inspiring Coaches Rally 2013!
