A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. Reducing Community and Landscape Wildfire Risk

This document is part of a series of thematic fact sheets from the PERFACT cooperative agreement, giving an overview of how network members and partners are working on the ground to reduce wildfire risk. With examples from coast to coast, and from collaborative development of CWPPs to community mitigation projects to trainings that are building the workforce for continued action.



Promoting Ecosystem Resilience and Fire Adapted Communities Together (PERFACT) is a cooperative agreement between The Nature Conservancy, USDA Forest Service and agencies of the Department of the Interior. The agreement supports the Fire Learning Network (since 2002), Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (2008), Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network (2013), Indigenous Peoples Burning Network (2016) and other efforts that bring people together to collectively identify and meet our wildfire challenges.
