The final report submitted by The Nature Conservancy’s North
America Fire Team for PERC, a cooperative agreement among The Nature
Conservancy, the USDA Forest Service, and land management agencies of the
Department of the Interior (Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land
Management, National Park Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service). The report
includes overviews of the mains strategies under PERC—the Fire Learning Network
(FLN), Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (TREX), Scaling-up to Promote
Ecosystem Resiliency (SPER) and the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network
(FAC Net)—as well as maps of the scope of the efforts at the beginning and end
of the five-year period, and an appendix of publications that contain more
information about work under PERC.
