Practical information, tools and training opportunities for land stewards and others dealing with wildland fire as a conservation threat as well as a management tool.
The resources herein have been gleaned from our experience working to abate fire-related threats to biodiversity in many places around the world. The Conservancy has been burning on its own property for over 60 years, mainly in the United States. What began as a mostly volunteer activity has grown into a key strategy for restoration and maintenance of fire-dependent and fire-adapted ecosystems, staffed by highly trained and qualified personnel.
