Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. This summary was developed in 2009, at the conclusion of the first five years of the LANDFIRE Project, before the second five-year cooperative agreement launched the LANDFIRE Program.

The result of five years of concentrated scientific research, repeated expert review and practice in the field, LANDFIRE National data can be — and are being — used at national, regional and large landscape scales. LANDFIRE products have been vetted by numerous organizations and individuals across the nation who bring decades of practical experience to problem-solving and developing important new knowledge and applications.

This small publication highlights uses, developments, applications and evaluations of the rich suite of tools that LANDFIRE has developed and continually improves.
