Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. FLN Notes from the Field are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network. This issue contains a detailed summary of Workshop #6 held by the Southern Blue Ridge FLN in Del Rio, TN in May 2011. The summary includes highlights from presentations on the Cherokee Forest Restoration Initiative and their use of enhanced Conservation Action Planning (eCAP), bat conservation, the Consortium of Appalachian Fire Managers and Scientists (CAFMS) and preliminary results from a network-wide monitoring effort. Presenters at the workshop included Greg Salansky (Cherokee NF), Helen Mohr (CAFMS) and Peter Bates (Western Carolina University).
