Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. If you’re interested in learning more about the project, reach out to megan.sheehan@tnc.org for more info!

Welcome to Conservation Gateway

The Gateway is for the conservation practitioner, scientist and decision-maker. Here we share the best and most up-to-date information we use to inform our work at The Nature Conservancy.

A set of recommended resources on collaboration distributed at the 2012 Southwest Fire Ecology Conference (Fire, Landscapes, Wildlife & People: Building Alliances for Restoring Ecosystem Resilience) in Santa Fe at a special session entitled, "Choosing Collaboration: Sharing Risk, Sharing Rewards = Big Results for Fire People and the Landscapes they Manage."

This document includes links to the slides from presentations during that session, as well as books, agency reports, websites and other resources useful for those starting or reinvigorating collaborative restoration work. Resources range from books and handouts that give an overview of collaboration to a set of documents (and a presentation) that help dispel myths about collaboration and FACA or NEPA.
