The Fire Learning Network publishes several types of publications intended to give an overview of activities and share lessons learned. In addition to the bi-weekly FLN Networker newsletter, current publications are the Learning Networks Field Guide and FLN Notes from the Field. All back issues of each publication are available online; descriptions of each, along with search suggestions, follow.  

Notes from the Field are short, illustrated summaries of FLN and training activities such as workshops, training exchanges and field tours. (INDEX​)​ 

Lessons from TREX Coaches are one-page overviews of some of the solutions members of the TREX Coaches Network are using to overcome workforce capacity constraints and otherwise enhance the enabling conditions for prescribed fire. (INDEX)

Developing Community Connections with Asset Mapping is a set of brief handouts developed to apply the principles of asset-based community development to wildfire resiliency. (INDEX)

​Webinars on a variety of topics of interest to Network members and other practitioners are presented approximately bimonthly, with recordings of the presentations and ensuing discussions archived. (INDEX)

Learning Networks Field Guide, published about annually from 2007-2016, gives an overview of the entire network, with pages for regional networks and large landscapes, an introduction to the Fire Adapted Communities Learning Network and pages for 19 of its community and state members, and highlights from recent Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges and work under Scaling-up to Promote Ecosystem Resiliency.
