Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. Central Appalachians FLN: 2014 Year in Review

FLN Notes from the Field are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network. In this issue (#75), the actions and accomplishments of the Central Appalachians regional network over the course of 2014 are briefly covered. This includes controlled burning, work with prescribed fire councils, non-native invasive species control, burning for bats, fire effects and avian monitoring programs, burn severity monitoring protocols, education and outreach efforts, and a Prescribed Fire Training Exchange.
