In
addition to organizing and hosting Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (TREX),
members of the TREX Coaches Network work in their daily jobs and home
units on various ways to build the workforce capacity needed for prescribed
fire to be used at the scale needed to meet our fire management challenges.
Based in landscapes and communities across the country
(and beyond), they are developing, adopting, adapting and and/or expanding
various means of expanding and enriching the prescribed fire workforce.
Some of
these strategies, tactics and practices are being collected in this series of
introductory briefs.
