A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. 	At the end of this module, participants will have an understanding of the concepts and process of:
	- 
		Developing a picture of the broader context in which the project will operate
- 
		Analysis of issues and trends
- 
		Analysis of stakeholders
	 
	And will be able to:
	- 
		Describe the current state and condition of people and ecosystems in a geographic or thematic area.
- 
		Identify the trends in conditions and describe the pressures being exerted on the environment and resources by human activities and the underlying forces driving the pressures.
- 
		Identify the significant responses to the condition, trends and pressures at the international, national and local levels.
- 
		Analyse and discuss the informationon condition, trends, pressures and responses and identify the major significant issues or areas requiring attention.
- 
		Identify keystakeholders – groups of people and/or with rights and to resources and/or working in the area.
- 
		Assess stakeholder power and influence and categorise them.
- 
		Design a stakeholders’ participation strategy.
