Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. Real-life Miradi project example: San Juan Islands Marine Stewardship Area Plan

link VIEW LINK: Link

This is a link to this project’s ConPro record, where you can browse information or download the Miradi file. In 2004 Washington State’s San Juan County Council designated the marine waters and shorelines of the county (which includes 176+ islands) as a “Marine Stewardship Area” to protect the marine resources of the islands while allowing sustainable use of marine resources to continue forever. The San Juan County Marine Resources Committee, a citizen’s committee that advises the county council on marine issues, used the Conservancy’s Conservation Action Planning methodology to develop a strategic plan for the area. Highlights of the Miradi file for the plan include the inclusion of socio-cultural or human well-being targets and detailed viability analyses and conceptual models.
