Scaling-up to Promote Ecosystem Resiliency: Big Creek Prescribed Burn

FLN Notes from the Field are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network. This issue (#34) briefly summarizes the 19-acre Big Creek prescribed burn conducted by the Trinity Integrated Fire Management Partnership November 2012. Conducted using SPER funding, the burn is part of a large program in a 1,000-acre watershed near Hayfork, CA.
