Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. If you’re interested in learning more about the project, reach out to megan.sheehan@tnc.org for more info!

Welcome to Conservation Gateway

The Gateway is for the conservation practitioner, scientist and decision-maker. Here we share the best and most up-to-date information we use to inform our work at The Nature Conservancy.

For a complete walkthrough on how to use the Listserve and how to set it up, we invite you to download the presentation. It is really easy and gives you a good overview on the possibilities it offers and the groundrules of usage.

What is the CCNet Listserve and how do I subscribe?

Are you a conservation coach who is looking for ways to connect with your peers around the world? Join the Listserve to ask questions, share experiences and tell others about interesting opportunities about your application of the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation, Conservation Action Planning or the Programme Standards.

To sign up please do the following:

  • send an e-mail to Marjorie Bennett, asking her to sign you up
  • receive welcome e-mail
  • follow the CCNet Listserve link and use code from welcome e-mail to set up personal password

***done & ready to roll***

Worried that your email-inbox will clog up? Well you don’t need to worry. You can personalize your connection to the list serve and choose to get a summary of the topics being discussed on a periodic basis. The presentation which you can download here explains how.  But don’t hesitate to ask Marjorie Bennett or Cristina Lasch if you prefer to get personal help setting up and personalizing your connection.

Good Listserve practice: We can help each other identify topics that interest us most or that need a rapid response if we include the specific topic of our email in the subject line.

We look forward to hearing about your wisdom born of experience!
