Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. Welcome to Conservation Gateway

The Gateway is for the conservation practitioner, scientist and decision-maker. Here we share the best and most up-to-date information we use to inform our work at The Nature Conservancy.

The following formats are examples from CAP processes conducted in Mexico. Sometimes recording information directly in the CAP-Excel workbook or Miradi is not very practical during workshops, so teams have used these formats. Site teams use these formats to record information during the second CAP workshop of their process (pressures & sources of pressure analysis & threat mapping). This helps document relevant information in a standardized way even when participants are separated into break-out groups, it helps generate well-documented maps, and serves as a basis to complete information in the Excel workbook or Miradi after the meeting and if necessary for generating meeting procedures. These are just examples, and teams may want to adjust the formats according to their needs.
