The Laramie Foothills Project: Measures of Conservation Success

The Nature Conservancy

Threatened by home development, mining, altered hydrology and invasive plants, the Laramie Foothills have been identified as a priority for conservation. The Nature Conservancy is collaborating with partners to preserve the plants and animals of this area by creating options and incentives for landowners, restoring ecological systems and providing education regarding values and land management practices.
