A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. The Upper Deschutes Basin, which was a demonstration landscape during the first phase of the national FLN, is the anchor project for a new network. The NW FLN focuses on ponderosa pine ecosystems, which are experiencing unnaturally severe wildfires, largely as a result of decades of fire exclusion. More info: Steve Buttrick
