FLN Notes from the Field are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network. This issue contains a detail summary of a two-day field tour hosted by the Centennial Valley FLN August 4-5, 2011. The first day covered the implementation of a watershed plan by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and included stops at a riparian zone (post-fire) and logging treatment areas. The second day focused on Forest Service land, and inlucluded a presentation on resiliency, discussion of goals, and site tours.
