LANDFIRE products can be used in many steps of the resource planning process. Comprehensive geospatial  products, existing and historic vegetation, fire regimes, fire regime condition class, fuel models, fire return intervals, and many more national spatial layers are available for download. The suite of tools and data assist in defining projects, assessing threats, developing measures and analyzing outcomes.  Vegetation models that mimic succession and disturbance on the pre-­ European landscape are also available.
