A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. FLN Notes from the Field are brief updates on activities from the Fire Learning Network. This four-page issue (#84) highlights the actions and accomplishments of the Central Appalachians regional network in the first part of 2015. This includes updates on recent controlled burning, work with prescribed fire councils, monitoring programs, publications, and outreach efforts.
