Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in early FY26. TNC's freshwater community-based conservation programme is seeking a consultant to develop a systematic guide for community-based inland fisheries. Please would you consider applying and/or share this advert with your wider network.

The two main activities are to 1) collect and review written and expert knowledge in the design, implementation and running of community-based inland fisheries and to 2) develop a systematic overarching guide for these phases. The outputs from this scope of work will serve as the first version of a guide and supporting library. Over the next few years, this guide and library will be further collaboratively refined and developed by in-country practitioners and the wider freshwater and fishery expert community.

Here is a link to the more detailed scope of work and application process.

Applications should be submitted to Sui Phang at sui.phang@tnc.org by 27 October 2021. Any questions should also be directed to this email address.

This work must be completed by 15 June 2022 because of funding restrictions.
