Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. Slides from a presentation by Sam Lindblom at the Association of Fire Ecology’s 2012 southwest conference (Santa Fe) in the special session, "Choosing Collaboration: Sharing Risk, Sharing Rewards = Big Results for Fire People and the Landscapes they Manage."

This presentation included an overview of the Allegheny Highlands Fire Learning Network (FLN) landscape and the challenges it faces, followed by an account of how partners have been able  to make significant progress in the landscape through collaboration. Includes a summary of accomplishents, benefits of partnering this way, and some lessons learned.
