Latest On The Conservation Gateway

A well-managed and operational Conservation Gateway is in our future! Marketing, Conservation, and Science have partnered on a plan to rebuild the Gateway into the organization’s enterprise content management system (AEM), with a planned launch of a minimal viable product in late 2024. Saginaw Bay Agricultural Conservation Awards

The Nature Conservancy will be recognizing the extraordinary achievements of Saginaw Valley farmers in December at our Saginaw Bay Agricultural Conservation Awards. These farmers work hard to protect water quality and improve soil health by keeping soil and nutrients on their fields and out of the Saginaw Bay. Join us as we bestow seven coveted awards on area farmers, crop advisors, and suppliers.

Awardee Benefits

  • Recognition at the 2019 Ag Awards Dinner, in TNC communications, and in your community.
  • Professionally-produced video showcasing the farmer and their operation. See our 2018 feature videos!
  • A beautiful, custom framed photo from the Saginaw Valley, and other keepsake items.

Awardees are determined by a selection committee consisting of representatives from TNC's Farmer Advisory Group, CISCO Farm Seed, Delta Institute, Michigan Agri-Business Association, Michigan Association of Conservation Districts, Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Michigan Farm Bureau, and Natural Resources Conservation Service.
